Hobnox is an online entertainment and publishing platform, a network for creatives and their fans. We unite broadcast-quality web media with cutting edge community-enabling technology. With Hobnox, an international media corporation is born. Created for artist by artists, Hobnox combines the best of current web entertainment with the newest technological possibilities of the internet to create fascinating opportunities for both artists and audiences.

Between November 2007 and February 2008, Hobnox called on artists to submit their projects to the "Hobnox Evolution”, an artist-development program that encouraged over 1,500 projects to be submitted for review. These artists became the first generation of the Hobnox-community. The development process of Hobnox embarked onto the next level: a community, stage, library and the first web-based production tools for artists are now in a public beta-phase.

On hobnox.com artists can present their content to the community, work on projects, collaborate and connect with like-minded artists. It will be the online platform for the creation and presentation of sophisticated web-entertainment. It will be a meeting point, a stage, a workshop and eventually a marketplace for creative content. In July 2008, these aspirations were awarded with the Grimme Online Award.

The channels already offer a range of versatile content that reflects the Hobnox-spirit: unconventional content and editorial production, presented in a high-quality format.

Until March 2008, the Hobnox-channels featured in-house productions, as well as features from our partners. Since then Hobnox is going beyond this content and begins to highlight the best projects and ideas from its community within the channels. Special talents are being assisted and supported by the Hobnox editorial team. Hobnox was established by a team of experienced entrepreneurs and executives originating in the online, film, music and technology sectors. They unite a competence and experience, with a common vision to create a platform for artists, enabling them to produce self-determined content, to make use of innovative new marketing strategies and to set new standards for web-entertainment.
