01. What is Hobnox?
Hobnox is an international platform for audiovisual culture and creativity. Hobnox connects Web.TV and modern community infrastructures with new online technologies.
Hobnox promotes and presents creative work of all kind, protects copyrights and provides fair marketing structures.
02. Why Hobnox, what's the difference towards other portals on the web?
Hobnox isn't just another video portal, it's much more than that: a network for free audiovisual culture and zeitgeist.
On Hobnox.com, creatives are to find what they need for their production, presentation, collaboration, protection and marketing of their own work – all as Open Source. Hobnox offers a stage and the means necessary for artists to present themselves.
03. Who's behind Hobnox?
Hobnox was founded by a team of experienced businessmen and executives rooted in the online, movie, music, and technology industries (Team).
The Hobnox team also consists of a motley crew made up of people from all areas of the media landscape. This is why all of the members are professionally interested in creative work. Most of them are also active in their spare time: whether it's making music, shooting movies, designing or programming, "by creatives for creatives" is to be taken literally.
04. How much does it cost?
Using Hobnox is free of charge. However, there will be premium offers soon, which will include e.g. more storage space for projects, or a higher maximum number of users for the Hobnox Livetool.
05. What are the requirements for hard- and software?
We recommend a reasonably up-to-date computer and a broadband connection with at least 2 Mbit/s, to be able to watch and use the content in a decent quality.
Apart from an up-to-date browser, you will need the newest version of Flash Player, since much of our applications run in Flash.
In addition, your browser should accept cookies from Hobnox.com, as they are necessary for some areas of the portal.

Hobnox does not pass on information (e.g. addresses) to third parties. Your information is merely used for anonymous evaluations.

When deleting an account, Hobnox erases all user data.
