Hobnox is the entertainment network for creatives and their friends. It is an initiative to provide networking and creation tools for self-determined artistic expression on the Internet. The Hobnox Metabolism brings all of these elements together on the one platform. Hobnox launched in spring 2008, combining community, production and publishing functions with web TV channels into one online-organism. Since June 2008, the site is in its beta phase whilst development and enhancement continue. Hobnox isn't just another video portal, but much more than that: a network for free audiovisual culture and zeitgeist. On Hobnox.com creatives are to find what they need for their production, presentation, collaboration, protection and marketing of their own work – as Open Source. Hobnox offers a stage and means for creatives to represent themselves.
